SCHOOL COURSES
IN-SCHOOL WEEKLY DRUM COURSE
We offer weekly drum courses in both local and international schools in Hong Kong.
These courses are suitable for students with little to no drumming or musical background.
In 2022-2023, we are offering two types of beginner drum courses: Course A (Explorer) and Course B (Exam-Based).
By the end of 10-12 classes, students will gain the knowledge and confidence to play a number of Rock/Pop songs or are ready to take the Rockschool Drum Exams to obtain their certifications in drums.
COURSE A - "EXPLORER"
Students will play music from a variety of Rock or Pop bands and artists like Green Day, Queen, AC/DC, etc.
COURSE B - "EXAM-BASED"
Students will learn drum techniques and play songs from the Rockschool Exam syllabus.

*Hong Kong Drum Academy students have a 100% passing rate, and most students get Merit or Distinction markings on their exams.
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Jaedyn Yu
Jaedyn Yu is a professional international touring drummer, and drum educator. She graduated from UCLA and studied from the best drummers in the world like Juan Carlito Mendoza (Guitar Center Drumoff Champion 2012), Glen Crosby (Santa Clara Vanguard Drum Coach), Wojtek Deregowski, Nathan Eby (Los Angeles Philharmonic and UCLA Drumline), and Mitchell Peters (UCLA).
She played in the best venues across the world including the Hollywood Bowl, Disney Concert Hall, and Clockenflap (Hong Kong’s largest music festival). She had collaborated with international artists such as SISTAR, G.na, and U-KISS and toured to the United States, Africa, Mainland China, and other Asian countries and is now actively promoting quality drum education in Hong Kong and across the world.
