5-Day Winter Drum Camp (2.5hrs/day)
Looking to get started on drums? Hong Kong Drum Academy’s “Winter Drum Camp” Program is a great place to start! It’s best for students who have never played the drum set before or for students with less than 1 year of drum set experience!
Get started playing the drums in just 5 days! Students will learn the foundations of playing the drumset, PLUS have a lot of fun doing so! Here's what you'll get access to:

A Rockstar photoshoot

Learning how to play a song from top to bottom

Explore different genres of music (Rock, Pop, Funk, Jazz, and more!)

Learn about a variety of bands - like Nirvana, Green Day, Queen, AC/DC, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more!

Drum Cover Session, where you’ll get to experience rocking out and performing in front of a camera and fellow campers!
Every student also completes the camp with:

Spend five days exploring how to play the drum set and learn to play music from bands like Queen, Green Day, Weezer, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and MORE!
No prior musical experience or instrument purchase is required.
Students will be grouped according to age/ability.
No two sessions will be the same, so join us as much as you like.

Jaedyn Yu
Program Director & Founder of Hong Kong Drum Academy
Jaedyn Yu has over a decade of teaching experience with over 300 drum students. She graduated from UCLA and studied from the best drummers in the world like Juan Carlito Mendoza (Guitar Center Drumoff Champion 2012), Glen Crosby (Santa Clara Vanguard Drum Coach), Wojtek Deregowski, Nathan Eby (Los Angeles Philharmonic and UCLA Drumline), and Mitchell Peters (UCLA).
In addition to teaching, Jaedyn also performed in the best venues across the world including the Hollywood Bowl, Disney Concert Hall, and Clockenflap (Hong Kong’s largest music festival). She had collaborated with international artists such as SISTAR, G.na, and U-KISS and toured in the United States, Africa, Mainland China, Thailand, Japan, and other Asian countries and is now actively promoting quality drum education in Hong Kong and across the world.
